One of the best plugins for such purposes is MapPress Easy Google Maps. Thanks to it you can edit page or post and add the map. Then you need to scroll down to MapPress section on your post and click New Map. Right after you do this a window will appear where you can add an address or just click on the MyLocation link to let the plugin be triggered and locate you. You can write a title or description of the map if you want. Once you are ready with the customization just click save and then publish your post. Thanks to this plugin you can add multiple maps to page or post. Once installed it will add settings menu in the admin side bar, so you can add additional features or edit your “old” maps.

2- Using Google Maps Widget Plugin to Add Google Maps in WordPress

Another way we are going to offer you when it comes to adding Google Maps to your WP site is by installing the Google Maps Widget plugin. Right after activating the plugin you need to go to Appearance -> Widgets and drag and drop the widget to your sidebar. After this action you have to enter the address you are looking for. There are various options such as adding pin color, zoom level or map size. If you want to configure the lightbox settings, just click on the lightbox tab. When you are done, don’t forget to save the changes, then go to your site and see the changes for yourself live.
